| Insect pins and minutens were originally designed for use by entomologist and curators displaying dry mounted insect specimens. The genuine insect pin is longer and stronger, yet thinner than the conventional straight pin. Today not only are insect pins used in entomology, they are used in art galleries, lacemaking, sewing, surgery, taxidermy, and textile preservation.
We offer a variety of sizes and styles of insect mounting pins and minutens. If you have questions about which sizes or styles are most appropriate to your application please contact us.
